2009

Happy New Year! We decided to drive to Lava Hot Springs and have a relaxing party. It was Nate's first time to sit in the hot pots there, sadly enough Nate had a very different idea what the hot pots were like. He imagined that you swing from ropes into the pools, jump off things, which is not the case. He teased all night that we have a hot tub at our apartment, we didn't need to drive an hour and a half to soak. Then we ate at a tai food restaurant which was delightful. We watched the ball drop and hit the hay.

On New Years day we went to Devil Creek Reservoir and ice fished. It was such a cold day and no one had any luck. There was a couple of bites and Nate said he almost got two fish but they fell off the line. Even my dad fished!
Then we stopped in Tremonton and took my grandma out to dinner. It was a fun New Year and we are excited to move on to 2009! We have a lot to look forward to.

Apparently you did not read in the Enterprise about the guy who fell in ice fishing!!!!!!!

I don't exactly understand the excitement behind ice fishing but several guys in our family also went out on Christmas Eve, they even scored an 18" fish.

How is your ear feeling? Hope everything is going well now that your have had some time to heal.
